CoZuMeL-DaY 6!

Cozumel was day 6! We didn't have anything planned specifically but we knew we wanted to shop and go on a sting ray excursion.

The water in Cozumel was SO blue and BEAUTIFUL! Definitely the prettiest of all the places we had been!

Whoop!

We got to shop for a couple of hours before we went on the sting ray excursion because it wasn't until noon.

Spencer bought me a tanzanite ring outlined in white sapphires. It's so beautiful!! It will be a great reminder of our cruise trip! Thanks husband! I love you!!!

Showing off my ring!

Spencer took this picture when we got back on the boat after our day in Cozumel. That's the blue Cozumel water in the background. So pretty!

Then we hopped on a bus and took a short bus ride over to the place where we were going to get to swim with the sting rays.

Look at that water!! I'm ready to go back and spend a week on the beach. If I could, I would live on the beach in my bathing suit for the rest of forever. That's pretty much my dream.

We were in a little fenced off section of the beach where they kept the sting rays and some fish.

Excited!!!

We got a run down on the anatomy of a sting ray and what all we would be doing. He posed for me. : )

Our group got to go snorkeling with the sting ray first. It was a little freaky at first because it was our first encounter with the string rays, but it was really fun after about the first 2 seconds!

This is our instructor at the bottom trying to catch a sting ray. He brought it to the top and let us feel their skin. It's really crazy feeling! It feels very slimy/silky, and rough all at the same time!

They name their stingray. They can tell which one is which by the markings/scars on them.

Our underwater camera got some pretty awesome shots! We weren't supposed to take it passed 10 feet but we probably took it about 20 feet deep. It didn't leak or anything!

After we got to snorkel with the fish and stingrays we got to pet, feed and kiss them! Spencer and I were the only ones who kissed them! : )

We weren't allowed to bring our own cameras for this part. They had a younger guy out there taking pictures, so we bought the pictures from them before we left.

This is where we fed the stingray. They gave each of us a few dead fish and we had to hold them in the water for the stingray to come eat them from our hands. Spencer actually got bit and bled a little.

So beautiful!!!

Then we had a hermit crab race. I think Spencer's went backwards. lol

Then it was lunch time!

Then we shopped around a little bit longer until we had to head back to the boat.

When we got back to the boat we went to the top deck to watch people run to the boat because they were late. We figured it was going to happen in Cozumel because everybody was partying and getting drunk in the bars when we walked by.

We were right, there were a few stragglers. We left about 15 minutes late. Lucky for them, the boat didn't leave them!

Here's Spencer's awesome new ring--The Mayan calendar.

Look what our towel animal was for the night!! How did they know!?!?

This is dinner after our Cozumel adventures:

I wanted jello really bad, so Spencer mentioned it to our AWESOME waiter. He pulled some strings and came out with a bowl of jello WITH whip cream and a strawberry on top. Have I told you how much we loved our waiters?!?!

We made Endi take a picture of us every night for dinner. He was SO cute and SO smiley! Yes, he took this one himself.

Our waiters were seriously amazing! We will never forget them! They all had about 6 more weeks on the cruise ship until they got to go home and see their families.
