Christmas in March

Well I'm FINALLY getting around to my Christmas post!

In December ALL of my family was here this year! This was the first year in about 3 years since all of my family was together for Christmas. It's so fun to spend time together, even though it can get a little hectic trying to match up schedules with everybody! PLUS we had a new addition to our family this year, so it was fun to be with little Jaxon for his first Christmas!!

A few days before Christmas, we did Christmas at the Sevy's.

If you know the Sevy's, you KNOW there were weapons involved!

Christmas Eve we went to dinner at a Chinese buffet with a few other families. It was so fun to do something a little different on Christmas Eve this year! I guess I'm not strictly SET on a Christmas Eve tradition, besides opening up pajamas on Christmas Eve of course...that's a MUST!

Poor little Jaxon was sick with RSV basically the whole time he was here. That didn't stop him from smiling. I miss that smile!!!

He was getting a little cranky throughout dinner and was PROBABLY sick of being passed around so everybody could hold him.

Immediately after I had Jaxon I passed him to Stephen. There's one thing that's for sure, he loves his Uncle Kunkel.

He's like the baby whisperer. I don't think Jaxon EVER cried when he was with Uncle Kunkel.

My Mom did an awesome job coordinating pajamas this year...

Then some family and friends came over for lunch and we celebrated my birthday.

Traditional Christmas scratch offs!

Just look at that smile!!

Hide and seek with Uncle Spencer.

So excited about one of my Christmas presents! My Mom and Mother-in-law collaborated on this one!

The next day I did some shopping at the outlet malls with a friend and Spence and I were able to go to dinner with some friends. It's always a good time with them!!

The Saturday after Christmas I woke up deathly ill. I paced around just feeling horrible not wanting to throw up but I knew it was coming. I think the last time I had thrown up was 7 or 8 years ago. Spence ran to the store and got me some crackers because that was the only thing that sounded remotely appetizing. I ate a few crackers and about 20 minutes later went and threw them back up. All day I just hurt and felt horrible. I was hardly able to drink and I definitely couldn't eat anything! I slept and rested because my body was just completely out of energy. That night we went over to my parents for Jaxon's baby blessing. We stopped and got some apple slices and fortunately I was able to eat like ONE of those! Then we got to my parent's house--it was all I could do to go into the house with the smell of food inside! Horrible! So glad that I could be there for it! There was no way I was going to miss it. That is one sweet little boy.

The Uncles!

The Grandparents!

Sisters with baby Jax! Feeling so sick!

The Aunts!

That toothless smile!!

Look at those cheekies!

I loveeee himm!!!

Then we headed to go look at Christmas lights since we weren't able to go before Christmas.

Fortunately I was able to drink a good amount of water that night so I was feeling a little better the next day and every day after that got a little better. I really think I must have eaten something that just didn't sit well in my tummy.

So any way, that was our Christmas!! It really is the best time of the year! Such a great time to reflect on the life of Christ. Let's not forget family, food, fun, lots of laughs, and even a cute little baby this year! It just doesn't get much better than that!! It was a great ending to a great year!

Thanks for following!
