Day 2-Baby Jaxon

The following day we got up at 7a.m. so we could pack everything up and took it with us to go see my sister, her husband and their new baby. They live about 2 1/2 hours from D.C. so we wanted to leave as early as possible. Let's just say we didn't get much sleep this trip. It was worth it though! We wanted to spend as much time as we could site seeing and visiting family, so that requires staying out late and waking up early. We probably got a total of 16 hours of sleep for 3-4 days. No regrets. : )

We made it to Newport News, Virginia around noon and headed straight to the hospital to surprise my sister. My brother in law knew we were coming. Thank goodness for him! We almost spoiled the surprise 2 or 3 times. Stupid group text messages! The whole family is on a group text message and a couple of times I texted or another family member texted about us being at the airport or being in Virginia a couple of times. So we had to call Nick and tell him to delete that message from her phone before she saw it. He saved us MULTIPLE times. Thanks Nick! : )

We were lucky enough to be able to help them bring baby Jaxon home from the hospital that day. So fun!

So cutttteeee!!

Not liking his car seat too much...

Lenny and baby Jaxon meet for the first time:

We hung out with them all night and tried the rest of the cupcake flavors. They didn't disappoint!

Every time Spencer held Jaxon he always looked so interested in Spencer.

Here are some newborn pictures of baby Jax...

Just ridiculously adorable!

The next morning we said goodbye and headed back to D.C.
