Day 4- HONDURAS!!

Day 4 our cruise ship made it to Honduras. We were supposed to dock at Mahogany Bay but the water was a little rough and because our ship was so huge, we let the smaller boat who arrived at the same time dock. Our boat traveled just a little further and docked at a pier just miles down the shore. We had already booked an excursion to go snorkeling so we were worried about making it to the bus on time. Little did we know that all of the buses that were waiting for us at Mahogany Bay made the trip over to our pier. I thought it was funny how fast so many buses showed up. They were ready and willing to take our MONEY! I had a snap a picture of it!

Here is beautiful Honduras as we are making our way to land.

Ready for the day!

So beautiful! Look at that water!

My camera kept fogging up because it was so humid outside.

Look how beautiful!

Then we docked and got off the boat.

Found our excursion group and followed them to our bus.

In the bus on the way to our to go snorkel!!

Then we took a nice 30 minute boat ride out to where we were going to snorkel.

It was a little cloudy in the morning. It even sprinkled some while we were on the boat. The water was still really clear and beautiful for snorkeling.

Amazing!

Can you spot the  lionfish??

After snorkeling we got back on the boat for lunch--chicken and rice, pasta and watermelon. SOOO good after a long saltwater swim.

We were done with our excursion around noon so we decided we would go back to the boat, shower, and explore Honduras for a few more hours.

These are our little Honduran friends! They took us around town for an hour or so. We were a little doubtful at first, but they ended up being super sweet boys and we gave them a little tip before we left. I'm sure they do that to all tourists to earn money, but we loved the time we got to spend with them. My little buddy was the younger one, named Anthony. So cute!

We were walking in to town and this blue crab popped out from between the fence and the brick wall and snapped at us. So freaky!

So sad to leave our friends and beautiful Honduras!

After getting back on the boat we went upstairs to watch the boat leave Honduras. Here's a view from our table.

Sad to leave our friends behind, but happy to be on our way to BELIZE!

And of course we head to the ice cream before dinner.

That's still Honduras in the back!

I was searching through all my pictures and I couldn't find pictures of dinner from this night. I think we skipped dinner on Day 4 because we ate in the lunch cafeteria when we got back on the boat from Honduras. So that's it for Day 4! Belize tomorrow!
