The night before my sister and brother-in-law left we all went out to Hickory Hollow. It's always one of our go to restaurants when family is in town. They are known for there over-sized chicken fried steaks. My husband, the king of all food challenges, of course completed their food challenge by eating their entire king sized steak the day of my college graduation and got to put his name and picture on the wall. : ) It's funny, we have noticed that there are a bunch of pictures of Elder missionaries with their names and pictures on the wall as well. It must be a popular place for the missionaries too! Another fun fact about Hickory Hollow is that my parent's had their wedding rehearsal dinner there back in the day! So fun!!
Watching football with Uncle Kunkel.
Love him so much!
My brother wanted a family picture of us all wearing UT shirts. So for Christmas he gave everyone a UT shirt, including me. So of course, being the good sister that I am, I complied with his wishes and put on that ugly burnt orange color just for a few minutes. ; ) Gig 'em!!
The next day was New Year's Eve and we spent it at the Sevy's house!
Outside doing fireworks...
Boys and their fire...
It was a great way to start off the new year-family, friends and food!!! : )
Thanks for following!
