We even ran into Glinda and Elphaba after the show! They are so tiny!! She is on her tip toes and I'm bent over.

Friday, July 26th we got to go see the musical Wicked!!! It was sooooo soooo good!! I've been a Wizard of Oz fanatic since I was probably about 2 years old (my parents can attest to that). I've collected all kinds of Wizard of Oz trinkets throughout the years. Barbies,ceramic plates, snow globes, figurines, and even panties--which were never worn. They were displayed on my shrine of collectibles. Yes, I'm a weirdo and proud of it!! The Wizard of Oz collection has basically come to a hault since I moved out and went to college. So it's in boxes all over my parents house. Who knows what the future holds for it all! ANYWAY, what I was explaining is that I've loved the Wizard of Oz for forever and had never seen Wicked!! How lame is that?!? I figured this was my chance to splurge and get us some tickets to the show since it was in Houston for 6 weeks. I'm SOOOO glad I did!! We had a blast, it was AWESOME. I'm already ready to see it again!! The cast was AMAZING!! A couple of days after we had seen the show I searched on Youtube for videos that people had recorded (though you aren't supposed to) of the show. I found one from a performance in NYC. It was NOWHERE near as good as the one we had seen! The cast makes ALL the difference!! I'm so soo glad we went!
